Should brushing teeth in the bathrooms at work be allowed?

Personally, I think it's disgusting when I walk into a bathroom and see someone hunched over the sink brushing there teeth. This should be left for at home not at work! Other wise they need to make OTHER bathrooms specifically for personal hygiene.

Should brushing teeth in the bathrooms at work be allowed?
Ewwww, I agree, it's so gross!! My co-worker brushes her teeth in the ladies' room every day, and I totally want to barf just thinking about it. Besides, dentists now agree that brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing nightly is all you need for healthy teeth and gums, so i think people who brush their teeth at work are OCD and strange in addition to gross.
Reply:A few years down the road, let's see who still has her teeth, fizzygurl and ravoken or the 'gross' lady who brushes aft err every meal.

Actually what is disgusting is not people brushing their teeth, it's people walking around with food stuck in their teeth. Report It

Reply:you need to brush your teeth more often. You spend 8 hours a day at work, and have at least one meal and don't brush your teeth? Yuck
Reply:There's nothing wrong with people brushing their teeth at work. I'm sure the people you see brushing their teeth already brushed them once that morning, and just need a refresher during the day.
Reply:I disagree with you. I would rather see someone brushing there teeth than walking around with bad breath
Reply:Why is it bad for someone to take care of their teeth at work? This is perfectly normal to brush your teeth after each meal and if you are at work I don't know how you expect someone to brush their teeth without using the bathroom to do it? Would you rather they did it at their desk and spit the toothpaste into their wastebasket out in the open? Sorry but bathrooms are made for things like brushing your teeth, washing your hands and for going to the toilet.
Reply:You prefer bad breath, food stuck in teeth, and a dingy smile?

From firsthand knowledge, people with braces must brush after they eat or it cause problems. As long a people are discreet and clean out the sink when they are done I don't see a problem.
Reply:after lunch i could see that, but not before
Reply:Well isn't a BATHROOM for personal hygiene? do you fix your hair? wash your hands? USE THE TOILET? You my dear have no life and are worried about really dumb things. Wiping your behind is disgusting should we wait until we get home to do that too?
Reply:Hey if they wipe their a**sses in the bathroom, I guess they can brush their teeth ! Besides, I wish Louis at work would brush his teeth anytime/anywhere ! Count your blessings!
Reply:If you can take a dump at work, why not?
Reply:I personally think there's nothing wrong with it for 3 reasons.

1.) What's the differance? You brush your teeth in the bathroom at home. So this bathroom at work has a few extra stalls. Oh well.

2.) Dentists recommend 3 brushings a day after each meal. What is corporate America to do after lunch during the week?

3.) Why is it disgusting to see someone brush their teeth? Good hygiene doesn't usually urk the average person.
Reply:How is it disgusting? It's in the bathroom....where far more disgusting things are taking place in there. I have braces and I will brush my teeth in my work's bathroom. Some people may have just had lunch and have food in their teeth or maybe they have bad breath! Get over it!
Reply:I think its gross you don't brush your teeth!
Reply:yes it is good to see your co workers are clean and care about their hygiene. and to comment on what someone else answered, it's not "OCD" to brush your teeth at work, it's actually very normal for a person to want their teeth to be clean after eating or drinking coffee which can make your breath stink especially if you haven't ate in a while.

my advice to you, maybe you should brush your teeth after your lunch brake as well!
