Brushing my kid's teeth?

My kid is 13 months old. Should I start brushing his teeth now?

Brushing my kid's teeth?
Yeah, go ahead and start. That way as your child grows they will always do it, it will become a habit for them. Buy some good tastin toothpaste and you shouldn't have a problem. My son loved the taste of it and couldn't wait till it was time to brush, lol ... anyways, whatever works huh!!
Reply:You should have started long ago to start a routine. I would say you should start when the get their first teeth but you can start before teeth come in.
Reply:whenever you fell comfterble, or the teeth are bad when doing the process give the baby a toy to play with dont get upset
Reply:you should of actually started brushing his teeth when they first came through, you can buy tooth brushes from 4 months plus, so yes start brushing! you can use tooth paste now but only a small pea sized amount!
Reply:you should have started brushing them the DAY they started coming in ...
Reply:yes. I think the earlier the better. You dont want your kid to grow up being made fun of his or her teeth.
Reply:Brushing a childs teeth should be started when they first come in. Doesn't have to be with a tooth brush, you can take a wash cloth to the new teeth. With our kids we started rubbing their gums at 6 months with a wash cloth.
Reply:YES, as soon as your childs first tooth comes in your suppose to brush it.So yes start now.
Reply:no
Reply:YES! The recommendation is always to brush the gums right from the get go to get into the habit of brushing, but as soon as a tooth breaks through it is so important to be brushing it after each meal. Starchy foods love to cling to those pearly whites and it makes a great home for bacteria to live and grow and decay your child's teeth.
Reply:you should have started brushing ur kids teeth before he/she even had any teeth.
Reply:YES! You should have been brushing them LONG before now. Unless this is his first tooth or something. You should really be reading up and doing your research.. kids have MANY needs, they aren't just there to be cute!
Reply:Yes, brush his teeth. Little people breath can have a ordor. My daughters have their own toothbrush. If they have all gums there is something out there that you can use for gums only. There are toothpaste that is safe for them to swallow (you know he isn't going to spit it out.) I think the toothpaste is made by Oral B.
