What are the different Methods of Brushing your teeth?

I'm not asking how to brush your teeth, but the terms dentists use in regards to the different methods used in the brushing of teeth. If a website could be provided that would be great, I wasn't able to really find anything.

What are the different Methods of Brushing your teeth?
The modified bass is the current accepted technique for brushing one's teeth. Other previous methods were: Bass, Fones, Modified Stillman, and others. Here is a website: http://www.drbunn.com/brushing.htm
Reply:up and down for two minuits. Get all the teethand its a good idea to get the plaque mouthwash to show you where the plaque is.
Reply:I brush in four quadrants starting in the lower left and ending in the upper right while making sure I get both sides of the teeth.
Reply:The colgate toothpaste people have a web site showing you the proper way to brush. Small circular motion. You have to brush 2 minutes total, 1 min on the top 1 min on the bottom teeth. That is the only real proper way to brush.
