Why would someone just suddenly stop brushing their teeth?

My sister moved in with me about 3 years ago, she's always been a very clean person and very hygenically concious.

She has completely stopped brushing her teeth, we share a bathroom in my apartment, her toothbrush hasn't moved off the side of the sink in over a month, her toothpaste hasn't been used and hans't moved from it's place in the cabinet. I haven't said anything to her about it, I'm curious to see just how long she'll go before brushing.

Why would someone just suddenly stop brushing their teeth?
odd question! i have a good friend who also quit. about 2 years ago. don't think she has brushed much since. her teeth are now half black and rotting at the roots. she has an awesome personality and is a very close friend. but because of this, i am a little embarrassed to invite her to big functions (such as my wedding) because i really don't want that grill in my wedding pictures, as selfish and mean as that may sound. i have no idea why she quit, but i think it's yucky. and will cost her thousands to fix, if she chooses to later on. no clue, i have wondered the same thing! what the heck? i think it's gross if i don't brush until noon on a lazy day!
Reply:There is no possible excuse for her to stop brushing her teeth especially if you admitted that she always cares about her personal hygene.
Reply:maybe she uses something else :-)

Cheers,

Reply:I dunno, maybe she's just lazy.

My advice would be to just ask her.
Reply:Kempos,, must be one says alot with the use of a very few words , but I agree perhaps a speed type drug is being used , sometimes thats a reason to forget other things
