Brushing teeth with hydrogren peroxide?

I have been considering doing Zoom teeth whitening, however I have a friend who is in the dental industry and he said I would get the same result if I brushed with Hydrogen peroxide. Is that true? And why do some people say gargle with salt water?

Brushing teeth with hydrogren peroxide?
You can use Peroxide like a mouth rinse to assist in whitening your teeth. It's not suggested that you do it more than 1-2 times per week as for it may make your gums sensitive.

Also for whitening your teeth you can brush with Baking Soda mixed with your toothpaste or by itself. It is VERY effective at teeth whitening, but it is also very abrasive and suggested that you only do this 1-2 times per week.

You can do both together even, just not to often.
Reply:I would never brush my teeth with Hydrogen Peroxide. It's something that can only be used externally.
Reply:H/peroxide is for hair.Salt water cuts infections in the throat
Reply:This is pretty funny...as I tell people all the time how worthless the zoom whitening system is. Basically, you can whiten your teeth with peroxide to some extent...but not very much...just like you won't get much as you do with Zoom.

It is not the best idea to use peroxide for your mouth...There are better things out there...just get some bleaching trays made at your dentist's office...yes, they are expensive, but the bleaching will last you YEARS before you need to do it again...
