Reply:as soon as the first tooth comes, use a soft bristle..And they need their first dental visit at 2.
Reply:my daughter is 1 year and 7 months and her doctor told em to brush her teeth, or they have like a cloth thing? I haventy seem them.
Reply:my son is 22 months and i started with the training tooth brush and tooth paste when he was like 8 months with his Dr OK . i did his because he got his first tooth at 4 months and i was concerned about his teeth. and some dentist wont even see a child unless they are 5 just so you know because i tried to get my son seen but his dentist that is on his insurance wont see kids under 5. sucks but you might want to ask your child's Dr when is a good time to start brushing.

good luck
Reply:As soon as the first tooth erupted... No toothpaste just a soft baby toothbrush... Wait until 6 months to use paste then use Biotine or Nu-tec baby toothpaste not adult toothpaste... Watch for tummy ache the first few uses and change brands if needed..

My youngest used to giggle and laugh through every brushing she still does (age 10) as she says the toothbrush tickles her gums...

All of my children really liked getting brushed during a tooth eruption it soothed their gums... I used to store a few baby toothbrushes in the freezer and then rub their gums with the cold brush when they were cranky with teething..
Reply:When they were about 3 months old I started brushing their teeth with a toothbrush. I used My first Colgate toothpaste with the baby's first tooth brush. I never used very much toothpaste at all. Sometimes it was like I only used water.

Paid off really well. They are now 2yo and have beautiful teeth.
Reply:I used the rubber finger brush as soon as I saw the first tooth. It came with the oral b baby tooth paste. Once he turned one I bought him a tooth brush and I use kids oral b tooth paste, just a tiny amount. My dentist says kids should have their first dental visit at one year of age.
Reply:I started brushing my son's teeth as soon as they erupted. I used the rubber brush at first then switched to a baby's soft bristle toothbrush when he started getting his molars. They also have a training toothpaste if he is still wanting to eat the toothpaste so he does not ingest the Fluoride. Hope this helps. He is 19 months now and has beautiful teeth.
Reply:They say when they get them to start brushing them. Oral-B has stages tooth paste and they have one for abbies that is safe lik around the baby section or near the toothbrushes/paste or maybe near orajel area.
Reply:we've been brushing our 16 month old sons teeth twice a day since his first tooth erupted. At first we used the rubber finger tip brush but by a year when he then had 8 teeth we switched to a toddler toothbrush. We've gone through several of them as he likes to chew on it when he does it solo! While brushing we sing our ABC's and our Brush Your Teeth song..he's to the point where he humms along! We use the toddler toothpaste by gerbers and were told that we can start using regular toothpaste once or twice a week recently. Haven't done that yet though:-)
